| Established in 1989, Kent Funding, Inc.'s main office is located in La Jolla, California in the San Diego Metropolitan area with a branch office in San Francisco. Its Founder and President, Richard M. Kent has over 30 years experience in the equipment leasing business. Joel M. Kent joined the company in 2014. The company has grown to the point that all leases are funded internally. We do not use bank lines or other sources that put regulations or restrictions on us as to the type of transaction we can fund.
Kent Funding specializes in dealing with clients who have been turned down by either their local bank or traditional leasing companies. We have found that if we simply talk to a client and hear their real story, there is generally a good explanation for their credit problems. Our typical client has a credit score under 550.
At Kent Funding, we pride ourselves on our interpersonal relationships and work hard to help our clients through their credit problems by getting transactions done as quickly and easily as possible. There are no credit committees, When you call us, you will speak directly with a person who will make the decision on the lease application. We do not use specific criteria to determine if an application is to be approved. We take a common sense approach to our business.
